Colorado Unemployment Not So Bad

Did you know that compared to the rest of the Unites States, Colorado really does not have that bad of an unemployment rate? Hovering around 6% Colorado has such a low unemployment rate that it does not currently qualify for Unemployment extension of benefits like other states do that have unemployment rates approaching 10%. Still to those in Colorado who are indeed unemployed this news may not be consoling. Lucky Colorado unemployment benefits still exist at least for the standard 13 weeks so hopefully this will be enough of a buffer to allow those who do lose jobs in the recession of 2009 to find new employment in Colorado. If this describes you the first thing you need to do is get educated on your eligibility for Colorado unemployment benefits and the application process to start receiving your checks.
