Testicular Torsion Ouch!

A condition primarily affecting adolescent boys called Testicular Torsion is a painful experience. This occurs due to the twisting of a blood vessel around the testicle usually the left nut that cuts off blod flow to the testicle. Testicular Torsion sometimes can affect both balls but usually it's just one and for some reason many times the left nut. It's said that Testicle Torsion can occur when the scrotum is relaxed in a warm or room tempreture environment and then exposed to sudden cold. The scrotum contracts and twisting can occur. Testicular Torsion will leave the victim with pain, redness and sometimes swelling of the testes. Many times this is followed by nausea and dizziness. Your doctor can do an ultrasound to determine if pain in your testicle is Testicular Torsion or some other issue.
