Switching Off Of Canidae
I've always appreciated Canidae dog food but recently they changed the formula for some of the dog food. The Canidae New Formula adds more protein but some of the changes in the formula may cause some minor side effects for your dog. There have been some reports of dogs having soft or light stools or diareah or vomiting. These are minor side effects and usually go away as the dogs digestive system becomes used to the new Canidae formula. Some dog owners however are not happy that the well known Canidae formula changed at all and have switched to other brands of dog food after performing more research. My suggestion is to try the new Canidae formula for a few weeks if you liked the old formula. Most dogs will accept this just fine after adjusting. If your dog is not adjusting then trying another brand may be necessary.
