Toyota #1
Toyota has now overtaken the big three US automakers as the #1 seller of cars and trucks in the US. In an attempt to counter the strong sales from Toyota, Ford is bringing back older models like the Ford Taurus. This is likley to compete with strong models from Toyota like the Toyota Camary. GM companies like Chevrolet and Pontiac are also likley to step up their efforts to compete with Toyota now that it has such strong sales in the United States. To citizens of the United States, Toyota is known for producing a powerful, high value, high quality car or truck as good and often better than vehicles made in the United States.
