Nevada's Unemployment Rate Hits 14.4%

One of the states hardest hit in this recession is Nevada. With an unemployment rate that hit a whopping 14.4% Nevada Unemployment has rarely been higher. The only ones who seem to be in a secure employment position are the folks at DETR who provide the unemployment compensation to the residents of this fine state. Perhaps the federal government needs to provide a method to stimulate travel to the great state of Nevada. With so many seasonal jobs in the casino and other travel related positions. Nevada's unemployment is directly tied to how many visitors they can gain. With travel being a luxury it is a tough sell to get Americans to visit Las Vegas and Reno.
