The new weather anchor at Kare 11 in Minnesota in 2006 is Sven Sundgaard. Replacing Ken Barlow as the celebrity that brings us the weather, Sven Sundgaard brings a fresh personality to Kare 11. Many will note Sven is a young guy but his Norwegon roots and upbeat personality will fit in with Minnesotans and their own Scandinavian heritage.
