Four Stroke Motocross Motorcycles

Many manufacturers offer a four stroke engine for use in Motocross racing. Honda, Yamaha and many others all compete for a share of the four stroke market, but the most recent models including the Honda CRF250R, Yamaha YZ250F, and Kawasaki KX250F/Suzuki RM-Z250 get very high marks from reviewers for power. The KXF/RM-Z gets good reviews for its low-end punch, but it loses face for a power plateau as the RPMS get into the upper end of the power band. The Suzuki gets compliments for its performance when short-shifted thanks to the higher-torque motor.
